Timezzon is designed as a timezone reference tool. The website and browser extension provide world clocks, timezone conversion, meeting planning, holiday lookups, and Smart Time Detection without requiring a user account.

We aim to collect as little information as possible. Timezone calculations and extension features are designed to work locally where practical.

Standard hosting logs may include technical details such as IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL, and request time. These logs are used to keep the service reliable, secure, and performant.

Meeting planner links store selected city slugs in the URL so shared links can reopen the same view. City slugs in URLs are not account data and do not identify a person by themselves.

The Timezzon browser extension stores saved cities, badge clock settings, Smart Time Detection on/off status, and selected tooltip time zones using Chrome storage.

Saved clocks and extension preferences are used only to provide extension functionality. They are not sold, used for advertising, or used to determine creditworthiness.

Smart Time Detection scans visible page text locally in the browser to find written time expressions such as "3 PM EST", "14:00 GMT", or "9 AM London time". When a match is found, the extension highlights the time and shows a timezone conversion tooltip.

This processing happens locally on the user's device. Timezzon does not receive, store, sell, or share the page content, emails, chats, documents, or detected time text processed by Smart Time Detection.

The extension avoids scanning password fields, inputs, textareas, scripts, styles, code blocks, and editable fields.

The extension may add a right-click menu item that lets users convert selected time text. Selected text is passed to the extension popup for local conversion.

Selected text is not sent to Timezzon servers or third parties by the extension.

Timezzon does not sell user data. We do not transfer user data to third parties except where necessary for hosting, security, legal compliance, or other approved operational purposes.

The extension does not load remote JavaScript or external scripts. Its JavaScript and CSS are packaged with the extension.
